. . . . . The Johnson Controls D-4073-6003 is a pneumatic piston damper actuator body with an 8 to 13 psig nominal spring range, supplied as body only - no mounting bracket, linkage or positioner is included.

Body-only codes are the economical service item for an installed actuator: the existing bracket, crank arm and linkage are already set up to the damper, so only the actuator body needs replacing. The equivalents supplied with hardware are the D-4073-2 (universal mounting bracket) and D-4073-5 (auxiliary mounting bracket), both 8 to 13 psig, and the D-4073-1 and -4 which add a D-9502 positioner.

The D-4073 is a multipurpose positioning device used to accurately position small dampers - primarily on unit ventilators, VAV boxes, terminal units and small ventilating dampers - in response to the output of a pneumatic controller or electro-pneumatic transducer, and is Johnson Controls' direct replacement for existing D-3073 actuators as well as a functional replacement for former D-251 actuators. Stroke is 3 in. (76 mm), control air is 0 to 20 psig for HVAC with a 25 psig (175 kPa) maximum, and the actuator handles dampers up to 6.75 square feet proportional and 11.7 square feet two-position.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
