. . . . . The Johnson Controls D-4073-3 is a pneumatic piston damper actuator with a 5 to 10 psig nominal spring range, supplied complete with a universal mounting bracket.

The D-4073 is a multipurpose positioning device used to accurately position small dampers - primarily on unit ventilators, VAV boxes, terminal units and small ventilating dampers - in response to the output of a pneumatic controller or electro-pneumatic transducer. It is Johnson Controls' direct replacement for existing D-3073 actuators, and a functional replacement for former D-251 actuators.

The 5 to 10 psig spring range sits mid-scale in a typical 0 to 20 psig control system, which suits single-actuator applications and the lower or middle stage of a sequenced arrangement - the 8 to 13 psig D-4073-2 covers the upper band, so the two can be driven in succession from one thermostat output. Stroke is 3 in. (76 mm), control air is 0 to 20 psig for HVAC service with a 25 psig (175 kPa) maximum, and the actuator is rated for dampers up to 6.75 square feet for proportional volume control and 11.7 square feet for two-position actuation. Accessories share the D-3070/D-3073/D-3153/D-4070/D-4073 hardware range.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
