. . . . . The Johnson Controls A19ACA-14 is an A19 Series manual-reset low-limit temperature control with SPST open-low contacts and a range of -30 to 100°F (-34 to 38°C). Its current designation is the A19ACA-14C, catalogued with a 3/8 in. x 4 in. bulb on a 6 ft. capillary, a WEL14A-602R immersion well, a screwdriver-slot range adjuster, a 140°F (60°C) maximum bulb temperature and a NEMA 1 enclosure.
Manual reset is what this control is for. When temperature falls to setpoint the contacts open and latch open until physically reset - the equipment cannot restart by itself. A low-temperature trip normally signals a real fault (loss of heat, a failed damper, a coil at risk of freezing), and a latching control forces someone to attend and establish the cause instead of letting the plant cycle back on and hide it.
Because the contacts latch, there is no differential in the conventional sense: Johnson Controls' selection chart prints "Manual Reset" in the differential column rather than a numeric band. The open-low action and sub-zero range make this a freeze-protection and low-limit device for coils, cold rooms and outdoor equipment.
Sensing is by a liquid-filled element with repeat accuracy unaffected by barometric pressure or cross-ambient conditions, and switching is by a Precision Pennswitch unit with snap-acting, dust-tight contacts, in a 0.062 in. cold-rolled steel case with a 0.025 in. cover, grey baked enamel. Manual-reset A19 electrical ratings are 16.0 FLA / 96.0 LRA at 120 V, 9.2 / 55.2 at 208 V, 8.0 / 48.0 at 240 V, with a non-inductive rating of 16.0 A at 120 V (9.2 A at 208 V, 8.0 A at 240 V) and 125 VA pilot duty at 24 to 600 VAC.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
