Description
The Johnson Controls A19AAF-20 is an A19 Series close fixed-differential remote bulb control with SPDT contacts, a range of -30 to 100°F (-34 to 38°C) and a tight fixed differential of 2-1/2 F° (1.4 C°). Its current replacement designation is the A19AAF-20C.
Reaching -30°F while holding a 2.5-degree band is what defines this model's usefulness: freezer rooms, cold storage and low-temperature process work need both the sub-zero range and close control, and a wide-differential control would let the space drift too far. Sensing is by a liquid-filled 3/8 in. x 4 in. bulb on a 6 ft. capillary, with WEL14A-602R as the matching immersion well (ordered separately) and a screwdriver-slot range adjuster. Maximum bulb temperature is 140°F (60°C) at infrequent intervals.
The A19's liquid-filled element gives low-volume, responsive sensing, the mechanism holds a constant differential throughout the entire range, and repeat accuracy is unaffected by barometric pressure or cross-ambient conditions - which is precisely what a freezer application demands, since the control head is invariably mounted outside the cold space. On SPDT operation a rise above setpoint opens red-to-blue (R-B) as red-to-yellow (R-Y) closes, letting one control stop refrigeration and simultaneously start an alarm, fan or defrost function.
Close-differential electrical ratings apply: 6.0 FLA / 36.0 LRA at 120 V, 3.4 / 20.4 at 208 V, 3.0 / 18.0 at 240 V, with 10 A non-inductive at 24 to 277 VAC and 125 VA pilot duty at 24 to 277 VAC.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
