Description
The Johnson Controls P72LA-1 is a PENN P72 Series dual pressure control with a Double-Pole, Single-Throw (DPST) switch. Per the manufacturer, the P70, P72 and P170 Controls for Dual Pressure Applications "provide combined high and low pressure control of compressors on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications." The bulletin adds that "P72 models have a Double-Pole Single-Throw (DPST) switch with load-carrying contacts that can provide direct control of 208/240 VAC, single-phase motors up to 3 hp, 480, and 600 VAC single-phase non-compressor motors and 208/220 VAC, 3-phase motors up to 5 hp."
One control protects both sides of the system: a low pressure side with an adjustable differential and a high pressure side. A Manual Reset Lockout option does not allow the pressure control to reset automatically after CUT OUT is reached, providing shutdown capability for unmonitored equipment, and some models feature Limited Knob Adjustment, which restricts adjustment of the pressure settings and deters over-adjustment or tampering.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
