The Johnson Controls P70JA-44 is a PENN P70 Series pressure control, used for high-side pressure control on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications, in an ammonia-compatible configuration. Per the manufacturer, the P70, P72 and P170 controls for high pressure applications "are designed primarily for high pressure cut-out control, head-pressure control, and condenser fan cycling control on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications. Controls are available in several pressure ranges and are compatible with most common refrigerants. You can also use the controls on other non-corrosive fluid applications. Ammonia compatible models are also available."

Models with single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) or four-wire, two-circuit switch action allow users to install alarm devices or other control circuits. A pressure-actuated bellows on the control is connected to a pressure tap on the controlled system by a capillary or a field-installed hose; the bellows responds to system pressure changes and operates a snap-action electrical switch. The all-steel case and cover provide long lasting, rugged protection for internal components, and sight-set calibrated pressure adjustment displays a visible pressure scale on Type 1 (NEMA 1) enclosure models that is fully adjustable through the range without removing the cover.

In the event that B2E Surplus determines that a Product contains a defect in materials or workmanship, then B2E Surplus, in its sole discretion, will (a) repair the Product, (b) replace the Product, or (c) refund the purchase price of the Product. EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
