The Johnson Controls P70DA-55 is a PENN P70 Series pressure control with an SPST open-high switch and manual reset lockout. Per the manufacturer, the P70, P72, and P170 controls for high pressure applications "are designed primarily for high pressure cut-out control, head-pressure control, and condenser fan cycling control on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning applications. Some models are UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Listed as refrigeration pressure cut out controls. Controls are available in several pressure ranges and are compatible with most common refrigerants."

P70D models use an SPST open-high switch with a manual reset lockout: the contacts open on a pressure rise to the cut-out setpoint, and the lockout mechanism "provides trip-free lockout that cannot be overridden or reset until pressure returns to specified level." Because the control does not reset automatically after cut-out, it provides shutdown capability for unmonitored equipment. A pressure-actuated bellows connected to the system by capillary or field-installed hose responds to pressure changes and operates a snap-action electrical switch, and sight-set calibrated pressure adjustment displays a visible pressure scale that is fully adjustable through the range without removing the cover on Type 1 (NEMA) enclosure models.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
