The Johnson Controls P66AAB-39C is a PENN P66 Series Electronic Fan Speed Control. Per the manufacturer, the P66 Series Electronic Fan Speed Controls "are refrigerant pressure actuated, electronic motor-speed controllers. The P66 controls are designed for use with single-phase permanent split-capacitor motors that are approved by the motor manufacturer for speed control applications. The P66 controls provide condenser pressure control by directly sensing condenser refrigerant pressure and automatically adjusting the condenser fan motor speed according to the sensed pressure."

The P66 provides an alternative to fan cycling control in many small and medium size refrigeration and HVAC applications, and can replace On/Off fan cycling controls, multiple speed motors, condenser flood-back systems, temperature fan-speed controls and modulating louver systems. Between 0 psig and the low end of the operating range the motor receives 0 to 5 volts; at the low end of the range the control applies its model-specific start voltage; within the operating range motor voltage varies directly with system pressure up to 90% of line voltage; and a further pressure rise of 20 to 30 psi above the range increases motor voltage to 97% of the applied voltage. The exclusive Johnson Controls/PENN pressure transducer responds quickly to condenser pressure changes and air delivery requirements, and soft start capability gives a smooth fan startup that reduces motor-starting noise and abrupt changes in motor speed.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE REMEDY OF REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND IS BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
