Description
Series P48 Pressure Control for Steam, Air or (hot) Water - SPDT operating or high/low cut-out control in a splash-proof IP54 die-cast enclosure.
The series P48 pressure controls are designed as operating or high/low cut-out control on steam, air or (hot) water applications. Also for non-combustible gases which are not harmful to the materials in contact with these mediums. On steam applications a steam trap is recommended.
The P48 series have been developed for special applications where pressure must be controlled. All models have an adjustable differential depending on the range. All the models have phosphor bronze bellows and brass pressure connections except the P48AAA-9150, which has a stainless steel bellows and pressure connection.

Adjustment and Contact Function (OEM)
Adjustment of range and differential can be done by turning the hexagonal range screw and differential screw; these screws can also be locked by a lockplate accessory (KIT023N600, ordered separately). The range scale indicates the high switch point (contacts A-B open, A-C closed) - deduct the differential to obtain the low switch point. A-B open on pressure increase and A-C close simultaneously. Mounting can easily be done with mounting bracket 271-51 (order separately) or directly on a surface; mounting holes 4.5 mm diameter and M4 holes are provided. Repair is not possible - in case of an improperly functioning control, quote the type/model number from the data plate or cover label when ordering a replacement.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
