P45 Series Oil Pressure Cutout Control with Built-In Time Delay Relay - net lube oil pressure protection for pressure-lubricated refrigeration compressors, with trip-free manual reset.
The P45 and P145 Series controls provide dependable economical low lube oil pressure cutout for pressure lubricated refrigeration compressors. The factory set pressure adjustment provides operation to the compressor manufacturer's specification.
The P45 and P145 controls measure the net oil pressure available to circulate oil through the lubrication system. Net oil pressure is the difference between the oil gage pressure and the refrigerant pressure in the crankcase. A built-in time delay relay, compensated for ambient temperature, allows for pressure pickup on start and avoids nuisance shutdowns on short duration pressure losses during the running cycle.
The time delay relay is a trip-free, thermal expansion device. Manual reset models are available with factory set and sealed time delays of 30, 45, or 120 seconds.

Operation (OEM)
PC (pressure-actuated) contacts open on an increase in pressure difference between the oil and low-pressure connectors and make and break the time delay heater circuit. The TD contacts open after the factory-set time delay interval if PC closes when the differential pressure drops below the setpoint, or if the differential pressure fails to increase to 3 psi (21 kPa) above the setpoint after the machine starts.
The P45NAA type number is itemised in the OEM technical specification table, so the reset type and time delay heater circuit voltage below are OEM-documented. The time delay for this dash number is not published - read it from the control label before fitting.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
