Description
The Johnson Controls M9220-600 is the 1 in. (25 mm) Jackshaft Coupler Kit for M9220 Series electric spring-return actuators. In the manufacturer's own words: "1 in. (25 mm) Jackshaft Coupler Kit (with locking clip) for mounting M9220-xxx-3 Proportional Electric Spring Return Actuators on dampers with 3/4 to 1-1/16 in. or 19 to 27 mm round shafts, or 5/8 and 3/4 in. or 16, 18, and 19 mm square shafts."

This is the large-shaft coupler - check the size before you order. Johnson Controls supplies two couplers for the M9220 and they cover different shaft ranges:
* M9220-600 - jackshaft: round 3/4 to 1-1/16 in. (19 to 27 mm), square 5/8 and 3/4 in. (16, 18 and 19 mm)
* M9220-601 - standard replacement: round 1/2 to 3/4 in. (12 to 19 mm), square 3/8 and 1/2 in. (10, 12 and 14 mm)
Measure the shaft, then read the table. The M9220 ships with a standard shaft clamp that already handles 1/2 to 3/4 in. round - so you only need the -600 if the shaft is larger than that, typically a jackshaft. The two ranges meet at 3/4 in., where either will fit; outside that they do not substitute. A 1 in. jackshaft needs the -600 and the standard coupler will not go on it.
It also fits the M9210. Johnson Controls lists the M9220-600 as the optional jackshaft coupler for the M9210 Series as well - useful to know, because the M9210 and M9220 share the same standard shaft range of 1/2 to 3/4 in. round.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
