Description
The Johnson Controls M9203-100 is the Remote Mounting Kit with Crankarm Kit for M9203 Series electric spring-return actuators. In the manufacturer’s own words: “Remote Mounting Kit with Crankarm Kit (quantity 1).”
What it is for. M9203 Series actuators are designed for direct mounting — they clamp straight onto a damper shaft from 1/4 to 1/2 in. (6 to 12 mm) diameter and need no linkage. Johnson Controls states that “an accessory crankarm and remote mounting kit are available for applications where the actuator cannot be direct-coupled to the damper shaft.” That is exactly this part. Use it when the shaft is too short, too long, obstructed, inaccessible, or out of size range, or when the actuator has to sit off the damper for service access or clearance.
Supplied as a single kit — quantity 1, including the crankarm.

Choosing between the M9203 mounting kits. Johnson Controls publishes four closely-named options and they are easy to mix up:
* M9203-100 — Remote mounting kit with crankarm kit
* M9203-110 — Universal mounting kit without crankarm kit
* M9203-115 — Universal mounting kit with crankarm kit
* M9203-250 — Remote mounting kit with crankarm kit and damper linkage for D1300 dampers
If you are mounting to a D1300 damper, the M9203-250 includes the damper linkage and is the better fit. If you need the crankarm on its own, that is the M9203-150.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.
WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
