. . . . . The Johnson Controls CSDECM-C35200L is a CSDECM Series current switch designed for ECM (electronically commutated motor) loads. It clamps around one conductor of the motor feed and closes its output when the motor draws current, giving a building automation system positive proof that the motor is running rather than relying on the command signal alone.

ECM motors draw a different current signature from conventional induction motors, and the CSDECM range is specified for reliable status sensing on those loads - which matters on modern fan-coil, unit-vent and fan-array equipment where ECM drives are standard. Rather than being self-calibrating from a full-load-amps dial, the CSDECM works to a stated minimum turn-on threshold: the output closes when the monitored current rises above that value and remains open below it. This model has a 0.35 A minimum turn-on and handles up to 200 A maximum, and carries status LEDs on the housing. The solid-state normally open output is rated 1.0 A at 30 VAC/VDC. The clamp (split) core opens so the switch can be fitted around an existing conductor without disconnecting the wiring.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
