The Johnson Controls A19AAB-26 is an A19 Series single-stage remote bulb temperature control for the 100 to 240°F (38 to 116°C) range, with SPST contacts that open on a temperature increase - a high-limit or cutout function for hot-water and process-heat equipment. Its current replacement designation is the A19AAB-26C, which is catalogued with a 3/8 in. x 3-1/2 in. bulb on a 6 ft. capillary.

The control uses the A19 liquid-filled sensing element for low-volume, responsive action, with precision repeat accuracy that is unaffected by barometric pressure or cross-ambient conditions - so heat radiating around the control body does not shift the setpoint away from what the bulb actually reads. Construction is a 0.062 in. cold-rolled steel case with a 0.025 in. cover, both grey baked enamel, and switching is through a Precision Pennswitch contact unit with snap-acting, dust-tight contacts. A built-in high cutout stop is an integral part of the control and can be adjusted in the field.

A19AAB electrical ratings are 16.0 FLA / 96.0 LRA at 120 V, 9.2 / 55.2 at 208 V and 8.0 / 48.0 at 240 V, with 22 A non-inductive at 120 to 277 VAC and 125 VA pilot duty at 24 to 600 VAC; hot-water variants of this type carry the lower 10.0 FLA at 120 V / 6.0 at 240 V rating. Closed-tank fittings and bulb wells are available for immersion applications, with the FTG13A-600R packing nut covering closed tanks from -35°F to +250°F up to 150 psig.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
