Description

The Honeywell ZD10X14TZ is a motorized rectangular zone damper used to control circulating air in heating, cooling and ventilating duct systems. It is a power-close, spring-open damper: the 24-volt spring-return motor drives the blades closed when energized and the spring returns them open when power is removed, giving fail-safe normally-open operation and making it the correct choice wherever a normally-open damper is required. It is typically applied with Honeywell Home TrueZONE zone panels and other electronic zoning systems.

This model is the 10 in. x 14 in. size, with the damper motor mounted on the 14 in. side - Honeywell orders ZD dampers as ZD (dimension 1) x (dimension 2) with the motor always on the dimension 2 side, so a ZD10X14 and a ZD14X10 are different parts. The damper arrives complete with the motor and linkage factory-assembled, ready to slip into the duct and wire with two conductors. Construction is extruded aluminum frame and blades in a parallel-blade arrangement for low leakage, with adjustable closed-position range stops to set minimum bleed airflow and a mechanical position indicator for visual damper status. Actual damper sizes are built 5/32 in. smaller than the listed size to ensure correct fit in the duct opening.

EXCLUSIONS. This warranty does not cover (a) any failures which are not attributable to defects in materials or workmanship, including without limitation, failures caused by accidents, inadequate maintenance, misuse, unauthorized modifications or repairs, improper storage, and normal wear and tear, (b) any consumable parts or accessories, such as cutter blades, nut splitter chisels, punches, dies, chains, wedges, and strands, that are designed to wear over time or through use of the Product, or (c) electronics, motors, batteries, and engines, as these items are warranted by their manufacturer.

WARRANTY RETURNS. No Products shall be returned without prior authorization from B2E Surplus. Buyer shall prepay all shipping charges for the return of Products to B2E Surplus’ designated service location.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL B2E SURPLUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SPECIAL DAMAGES, INDIRECT DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF REVENUES, OR LOSS OF USE, EVEN IF INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. B2E SURPLUS' LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY ORDER IS LIMITED TO THE ORDER PRICE FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT THAT GIVES RISE TO THE CLAIM. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THESE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES FROM BREACH OF CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE), BY OPERATION OR LAW, OR OTHERWISE.
